The chat is beginning to be a very unpleasant place at times now and having ops back will be absolutely needed to keep it clean.

I made a topic about this in the suggestions forum. The game would not have to be updated to add a swear filter, spam filter, etc. An IRC Bot could take care of all of this.

Those kinds of things are really necessary now that there are so many new players every day.

There is now an IRC bot in the channel.

Users that use offensive language or harass others will be banned from the chat for a certain time (or even permanently).

We will monitor the activity on the channel more closely now. Thanks for the reports.

Op restored and host format changed so now we are able to handle the channel properly like normal irc channels, banning etc..
