Hey bud, I really like Hanged Man. The detail on this is really good, its nice to know I gave you a little inspiration. I was trying to work out why you hit the file size limit so early on, I think the main thing is the big cages, becuase each pole is in a different position it takes up a lot more space. It was Iron Warlord that told be about conserving space by using similar x, y, z coordinates, which has helped me out a lot.

The only negative on the detail is a few very little things like the wooden platform being merged into the wooden ramp plate along with the metal beam, but I doubt it will matter to many other people. I'm just being fussy as usual. :D

Pretty sweet driving line as well, good difficulty level on all the obstacles which I like. Overall great work on this track man, keep it up.

I also checked out Hanged Man 2, but I'm not a big fan of the 16-bit style tracks or any number of bit tracks haha, so I still prefer the original.

lol, its cool. I'll look into the area you said about. And yeah the idea for this one totally came from yours. I knew about the x,y,z, thing along with the limit, but didn't want everything in the same place so just went with it. Its a shame i couldn't add more details, as i so wanted to go mad with this one :?

With the 16-bit version, it only took me 20min. Some people will like it, others not so. I just wanted to see what it would look like as i've not really made anything like it (apart from Twilight).

Thanks for the feedback, its really appreciated :D :D

Thanks Elmo, I'll most likely be entering one of the two into the TMC comp. Still playing around with both, and trying to think of another track.

Hope your be entering to, wouldn't be the same without a mad physics track :D

Constructive criticism here.

You're crazy physics tracks are awesome, but once you take away the tricks you're tracks aren't nearly as impressive.

There are two simple problems that I think you should fix.

One, your checkpoints. Mostly on your Ninja tracks. They are ridiculously far apart sometimes, which only makes your Ninja tracks more frustrating. I shouldn't have to go through 20 different obstacles to reach a single checkpoint. A good example of how this is annoying is the second to last checkpoint on Rage Quit. That part almost made me...rage quit. You could've easily seperated those two obstacles, but instead for some reason you decided to combine two really hard obstacles into one insanely hard obstacle. Not fun.

Second, your medal times. Their ridiculous. When I scroll through my list of user created tracks its mostly gold and platinum, until I get to your tracks. It then changes to bronze, bronze, bronze, bronze, bronze, bronze, with the occasional silver or gold.

You're probably trying to appeal to the top 0.000000001% of players, and they probably do, but I'm around rank 500 so I don't think I should be having such problems with a track. If you made some changes to your tracks you could make them appeal to people who aren't gods at Trials. Make your platinum times as hard as you want, but the fact that getting a silver medal on your track is hard even for me is just stupid. Spreading out your checkpoints just makes your track more annoying, not harder.

thanks for the feedback. With all but the ninja tracks, i don't have too much of a problem with the times (yeah i know it's easier when you make them) - (and we're roughly the same on the leader boards), I've been a little leaner on my times lately - but can still improve.

Checkpoints for me, are sometimes a bitch, mainly with the physics tracks. Sometimes its just not possible to add them in at a certain point. With static tracks, yeah again i could do better. Regarding "Rage Quit", that last area that you said, the way it's designed i couldn't have put in a checkpoint (bad designing at the end), but i do know people have beaten the track 0 faults (when my best is 10 faults).

I will take on what you have said, and try to work it into whatever i build next :? :?

Does anyone else have problems with time ect... please let me know and i'll see what i can do

you know my issues. i still think you have issues with your track difficulties. i think its because your skill level is high. let other people help you decide the tracks difficulty and keep extreme obstacles out of hard tracks. otherwise, i agree with what hes saying. but i love your tracks overall.

i do ask some people to test my tracks,

DJ 2wItchY
Lost Technique
BlazingDude123
Lumberjack Pep
RekluseKTM
The1Russian
x Professi0nal

and a few others. Of cause not everyone tests my tracks all the time, but these are normally some of the people i ask. I also ask them for advise on times ect... So i do try to make my tracks as fair and playable as possible.

I do understand that i don't always get things right :? :?

Nice job on Passed/Passing Through. Got a nice overall look and some interesting set pieces here. I got along better with the hard version much more than the extreme - or is it ninja do you think?

I've played the tracks of a few of those people. They all have the same track problems that you have. (Ridiculous medal times namely) Get more varied playtesters

Flyer your testers coudnt be more varied, this guy doesnt know shit about em. The testers global rankings are very varied, some are better at drivelines and some are better at backgrounds and never had problem with times on theres. Your testers are all good trackmakers ;). Theres nothing wrong with the times. Remember when i was telling you i was getting plats on all your tracks.. Maybe puttin more effort in will show some progress buttcheek. Flyers tracks are kick ass and i know he puts time in em (apart from the track you made waiting for dinner hehe). And there is loads of people that speedrun custom tracks!

  thanks DJ... Does anyone remember the first time playing king of the hill, it took me ages to get to the first checkpoint, how about dynamic range and those f**king balls - again it took me forever to pass them, but now if i make a fault (even not giving a sh** about my time) i'd be annoyed with myself.

i know there's always room to improve, and i think i'm getting there. I also think Xpro said it right - he makes tracks for his own abilty and not for others, if they can't step up and beat them that's their loss (well it was something like that)

If that's your mantra then your tracks are okay. I try to make my tracks appeal to as many people as possible, but if you don't want to do that then you can ignore everything I've said. Just my opinion.

I totally respect your opinion, and geniunely appreciate you speaking up. I was just saying that i do try to make all my tracks fair and playable (within the differculty set), and that all times are 100% possible, I even post videos on my youtube to prove this (ninja tracks, even i struggle with).

I wouldn't say i was anywhere as good as Xpro, so when i say i build to my own ability - i'm building to an above avarage level.

Side note : global leaderbords don't really mean much - look at Lumberjack Pep, think he's about 10,000 and he's far better than i am.

Anyways, i'm still learning in the editor and will look into the checkpoints further

I am loving your new non-physics based tracks more than your physics ones to be honest. I mean i enjoy the random stuff flying around to create the driveline, but after a while, those tracks are beginning to get slightly gimmicky to me.

Project X and Y are both awesome. Great variations, and both difficulties are a blast to ride.
PassedThrough is a bit tough for my taste, but might be a nice submission to the Ninja Leaderboard Thread!
PassingThrough also seemed to be leaning toward the tougher end of hard, close to extreme even at times, but is good fun.

Know what you mean with the gimmicky side of physics tracks, but i like them coz there a real challenge to build.

I was really happy with how my static tracks have been coming out, i'll be uploading some new videos soon of my runs (just need a decent run on the extremes). Thanks for the feedback though :D :D

Your tracks you have made ive always loved. Physics or statics. I understand nytmair with the style and expectance of the tracks. I still think backspace is my fav, it has a bit more than the others and i still admire that it aint easy making tracks like that. But your statics tracks do kick ass flyer.

thanks DJ, yeah i love Backspace to, one of my better ones. Almost done with another physics, but with people not really doing the old feedback (some always leave it, and its appreciated), i might seriously slow down and wait for Evo to finally arrive - whenever that may be !! :? :?

I have just been playing Working Class, and wow! Really well put together, and stuff I haven't seen before. It might be my new fave from your hands! Really well done!

As for the ongoing discussion, I for one most often keep tracks that has something special to them, like physics, cool backgrounds/ themes and so on. The static tracks are definetly also something I like, but mostly the in-game tracks and the work of some of the really good builders/riders like Boris, Murdoc etc.

I guess the reason for that is that I find most of the custom statics out there a bit trivial, but that's just personal preferences, like the good Nytmair's opinion also is an example of, and I totally understand his point of view btw.

I like to see what the editor can do besides the obvious. That is the reason I started building in the first place, and the reason I've been hooked on this game for so long. The competitive side of me get it's satisfaction playing the in-game tracks.

thanks Elmo. I totally with you on only keeping some tracks and not other, i do have certain builders i almost always keep, but even then i have to delete tracks every so often.

And thanks also for the feedback on "Working Class", not sure which parts you mean't when you said "not seen before", its mostly designs don't many times now, either way i'm really glad you liked it :D :D

I'm not going to build full physics tracks now until Evo finally arrives, will still add in physics into anything i build but just not as much - kind of like how jook13 does it i gues.

Well, the big frame that spins 180 around you when jumping through, haven't seen that before :-) Seen other variations of it perhaps, but not like that. Or maybe my memory is finally starting to show signs of deterioration :D

You actually gave me the idea - indirectly !

In one of your last tracks you had something that flipped after you ride over it. Forget the name. Always play your tracks for ideas, and then try to mod them into my own, in short, your still the real genius lol :D
