Maybe I stand alone in this. Just about every popular game on consoles fix glitches and ban and reset stats for glitching (def: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glitching et al). How much longer will cart glitching continue to be tolerated and left unresolved? This detracts from the fair play and competition of the game.

The top run today isn't a glitch and my time in 21st position is nothing more than a relatively clean run. Just sayin.

Personally, I don't think it has a big impact and would rather devs spend time on new features instead. More features potentially leads to fewer cart levels as well.

Day 199 - Double Cart Glitch

I think it has a little impact.... As you see in the vid - of course only if you watch closely bacause of the crappy quality - I only had to do about the first half of the run, the second half I was completely stuck in the cart(s) and just had to watch till I crossed the finish line. I know the run isn´t Top 10 or anything, but I´m placed 39 right now and anybody could do it, no matter if he´s good at the game or just started the first day...

it does give the less experienced players an upper hand because luck plays a big role in cart tracks... but not enough to warrant dev effort IMO. I can see a sub 12s (maybe even mid 11s) line but can't quite get the last bit right. You can still get top 10 simply by being good.

Anyway... let the no names have their moment in glory... we don't give them much opportunity to do so normally.

I dont think the devs should change anything either, I just stick to my tactic... Play a bit till i get an acceptable time and ignore the track for the rest of the day

fair enough. Personally, I like the randomness of these sorts of tracks... breaks things up a little bit and gets you away from full on precision runs all of the time.

What cart glitches are you talking about?

Agreed. I just got a 12.2 with just a clean run and with some room for improvement.

People can get lucky but I don't see that as having an impact over the course of 1000 days.
