Hi guys (and girls but I don't think there are a lot of you around here :D ),

Every1 saw the new trailer (like 20 times) and I had some ideas for (skill)games which I'm gonna try to make:

- Peggle
As in the trailer you could see a pinball machine so i'm gonna try to make it :p not sure if I wanna use like a ballshooter
like in Peggle. Or maybeee just rider and bike instead of ball! Scoring: is a bit complex because i can't tell how to make it if i don't know how the editor will work atm :p

- Yeti Sports
I think this is one i'm sure i'm gonna make because it's not hard to make! I think like i see it it's the closest to Yeti Sports 5 .Instead of the animals who get you further (or block you) i use explosions and flippers etc. :D Scoring: get as far as you can so not hard to make i guess.

HA! A peggle track would be awesome :D and probably super complex :p I've wanted to make a Split Second track for the longest time. Glad I waited cause now with the new editor will be SICK! I am making a Dungeon Defenders map, and Frogger (remake)

The FPS thing and the ball rolling game both caught my eye. Thinking I could use those to make fully 3d puzzle style maps. Much like the "escape" maps in FC2 (search FC2 escape maps if you don't know what I'm talking about). Anyway since you can create moving platforms, working switches and doors, death traps etc. I'll probably end up making about 10+ :D

One other thing I was interested in making is a helicopter that shoots missles and you have to take it out by shooting items at its weak spots (which have triggers on them). God only knows how I'll pull that off though...

The Peggle and Frogger ideas are terrific because they seem realistically doable, I can't wait to see what we can do with helicopters as well.

Dang it Qc! I had an idea for something like that!

IF the rider can be removed from the bike without the game ending in a fault, then here is my plan!

Tie one trigger to a tool that allows you to lift the player model into the air. This trigger should also be tied to a rotation hinge (if they are still there). When you pull the trigger, the rotation hinge rotates and the player lifts off. Letting go makes you fall SLOWLY.

Tie the left stick's right and left position to a tool that will work to propel the player model forward or backward.

Tie the left trigger to a spawn for bombs at just behind the player position.

Object of the game is to drop bombs on targets while avoiding obstacles in the players path. This idea uses the standard left-right drive line and not open world.

I also want to make a Geometry Wars clone. It may be more difficult. :(

Yeh, I noticed that too. It should be pretty helpful. I think I'll just stick to making simple static tracks at first until I get the hang of things.

I can make stuff spin in THD, but I've not tried to use pistons for anything - handy for decor though. :wink:

I can help with those things man why you never ask me? :( I know quite a few physics things in the editor :) Yea lots of examples that will help greatly for people!

I'm going to try to make a big skyscraper and have the track spiraling around the building from the ground up or from the sky down.

The Evo editor does look complex but I remember seeing a post from a developer mentioning there will be tutorial videos for the Evo editor. Hopefully those will show us how to do everything.

I wouldn't mind Redlynx releasing those tutorials a week or two before the games release, that is if it doesn't spoil any of the game for anyone.

i never used to bother creating any skill game levels in THD but seeing that helicopter gave me a idea for remaking a retro game called scramble where you had to fly through caves without touching the sides aswell as bombing strategic points. you could probably incorporate picking items up too on the way :idea:

I hope we can make a camera view with no perspective, for true 2d-style levels.
I also want to try covering up the bike with random mass-less objects so that it still handles the same, but looks like a giant wooden horse or something :lol:

Also, I'm definitely planning on making a SOTC colossus battle.

And one more thing I'd like to see would be a recreation of the best game of all time, Big Rigs.

Can't wait to see it. Beyond track building, you had some of the most artistic flair in TrialsHD. Spooky and Girls on Film are some of the coolest eyecandy I ever saw.
