Trying to climb the leaderboards, but not sure exactly where to focus your attention? Not sure which tracks/tournaments/skill games have the most potential for a higher score? This spreadsheet will show you exactly where its worth to spend your time!

Created in Excel 2007, but should be compatible with Excel 97 through 2003.

Sweet, I personally won't use it, but I checked it out and it looks SO much easier to use than the old version. That one confused me to hell.

New/improved features:

• All new tracks and tournaments from Big Thrills
• Added fault counts for all medals for a more accurate "medal" calculation (does not effect score)
• Added the ability to "collapse" sections of columns to simplify the view, especially useful when printing
• Your "rank" value will show in RED if your score is not in the top 5000 (ie, no replay)
• Redesigned score summary on the bottom of each page, including the % of the maximum score
• Redesigned summary sheet, including % of totals
• New "scorecard" sheet with a medal scorecard and a new ranking scorecard
• "What if" columns are now "Goal" columns, and will calculate both + and -
• "Track Record" values are current as of 12/11/2010
• "Goal" columns are pre-populated with a score that would put you in the top 100 for that track (also current as of 12/11/2010)
• Added a "medal override" column, which I explain further below.

Medal override: If you expand columns P and Q, you will see an "override" column. This allows you to manually enter a medal that you might have in-game, if the calculation shows something different.

An example of when this might occur: You get a Gold medal on Pilgrimage with 20 faults and 4:00.000. Later on, you improve your faults to 15, but it takes you a 5:00.000 (which would normally only award you a Silver medal). You've just been "Ben Johnson'ed!" The fewer faults will be a better score, so that's what the game keeps. My spreadsheet, though, can't look in the past and know what you had previously, so if you want the "Medal Scorecard" summary to be accurate, you will have to type the word "Gold" in the Override column for Pilgrimage. Later on, if you improve your score further, just delete the text you typed in this column.

Basic instructions, if you haven't used this before:

GREEN areas are for you to enter your scores
YELLOW areas are calculated. Don't type anything here!

The only columns you HAVE to enter are your faults and your time. The Rank and the Track Record are optional, but useful.

Make sure to enter your times with a leading zero, like "0:45.123". Otherwise Excel may misinterpret it.

Hey, question on how to use it!
I obviously get what to put under 'My Time' 'My Faults' and 'My Rank' but Under X and Y what do i put? The ones saying 'Goal' and 'Time'' ? And where would it calculate the difference in my score?

To get all the medal times I had to (carefully) get the bronze, then silver, then the gold on each track and tournament. It's actually hard to NOT get a good time on some of the easier tracks, I used the Bail button a lot to increase my faults

There were only a couple of tournaments that gave me trouble getting Gold. Platinum, however, is likely to be a different story

Those 2 columns are "goal faults" and "goal time". I've pre-populated these with times that represent a 100th-place score.
The calculated score from these is in column Z, and the difference to your score is in AA.

If your score is BETTER than the goal score, this will be a negative number (this was a user request)

This speadsheet is a big help.
But i do find i need more guidance on the Skill Games and Skill Games (Deffo!)
Is there any chance you can upgrade it to have the skill games? I understand it can be quite difficult but everyone knows thats where the points are.
You can't really 'aim' for a time on a track because you might get a lucky run. But on the skill games like Target Hunt you can aim for an 'amount of targets' and get a more accurate view on your score (And they provide bigger scores)

Just saying, this is a very good spread sheet and is very accurate, but can't help but think how amazing it would be with both Tournaments and Skill Games too

There are all tournaments and skill games. Look at the bottom of your Excel. There are some more sheets you can switch to

I never asked this time, because I felt confident I could get Gold on nearly every track/tournament, given a couple weeks of practice. That wasn't the case last year when the first DLC came out, I was still a relative novice rider.

So I got no issues with Jorma I always like seeing the actual numbers for myself, too.

Hey MegaTrain, could you look into the file? I have a silver entry when I should get gold for the Professional League Tournament. I have 1 fault and a time of 04:28.623 and that gives me silver instead.

The sheet is brutal, my Nervous Breakdown gold medal is worth 4 points

The Silver is actually correct, you'd need a time of 4:15.000 or less for it to calculate as Gold.

I think what probably happened is that you had a previous Gold medal with a higher fault count (say, 3 faults in 4:10.000 or something). Then you improved your faults, but got a slightly worse time. The game doesn't actually *take away* the Gold medal, but it *does* calculate the score as a Silver.

To fix it (at least for the Medal Scorecard to be correct), expand columns P and Q, and type the word "Gold" in cell P10 (the "Override" column). This will make sure the scorecard shows the Gold and not the Silver.

Hopefully this makes sense

Yes it does, now that you mention it I did lower my fault count but my time suffered. Thanks for the heads up.
